Dr Luka Omladič holds a PhD in philosophy and has been a long-time researcher and lecturer in the fields of ethics, environmental protection, and social justice.He has participated in numerous international projects related to the ethics of science, technology, and climate change, including serving as a member of the World Commission on the Ethics of Scientific Knowledge and Technology (UNESCO COMEST).He is the author of numerous academic and popular texts and a frequent commentator in the media on environmental and social issues.As a former secretary in the cabinet of the Minister of Labour, he was directly involved in the development of policies related to long-term care and deinstitutionalisation.Today, as State Secretary at the Ministry for a Solidary Future, he actively contributes to shaping policies that strengthen justice, inclusion, and dignity for all people.
